I bought this tatacon now in 2024, I'll tell you about the product. I tested on this site at 4:22 and my iine tatacon reacts in the same way as the hori one, it doesn't stay held longer, it goes from 1 to 0 instantly when it hits. So it doesn't appear to have an internal lag that affects the entire drum, what confirms this theory is what she said at 7:01 .. These buttons on my drum work with 0 lag, no matter how fast I press, they register all my commands without dropping anything. works like a normal switch control. Now about the functioning of Don's and Ka's: It works without this lag problem, but like the standard Hori Tatacon, it lacks sensitivity... you need to hit hard to register, the Don's hit are ok, but the Ka's need considerable force to register. In other words, with a modification to make the don's and ka's more sensitive, this tatacon is perfect, I was surprised by the quality and the price I paid. I recommend this tatacon, but remember, just like the hori, you need to modify it to make it good.

for making a rythm game in unity, as a non-seasoned unity enjoyer, what should i go with while i make basic gameplay? should i go for suppourting offset first?

i mostly play etterna but have started playing quaver a lot more recently in etterna i play for AAs in the 26-27 msd range (so approx low 6 star stuff for you osu mania nerds out there) my technicality and stamina is really good but my raw speed isnt quite there and im completely useless at chordjacks in quaver im mostly either playing catch up on lns (can barely s rank 6th ln dan rn), honing my sv skills or farming ranks (i can s+/fc most 30s from my experience)

I somewhat disagree with you on the last point , you can get better by miserably failing 6-7 stars as a beginner , its trains ones reaction ...and gets them used to the faster pace of higher star maps , however to be efficently used id recommend to do it on a song you know well , like really well ....like " i can hear the bass drums guitar and vocals seperately" kind of well ....
